The department of Drama & Theatre organizes production oriented workshops apart from regular classes. The eminent directors and theatre professionals regularly visit the centre for guest lectures and workshops.
SRMS Riddhima invites various National and International Theatre groups to stage their drama at the auditorium of the centre. The department trains students in theatrics’ like acting, make-up, costume design, light design, diction and pronunciation, voice modulation, personality development and yogic exercises. The department also runs its own repertory. The department announces audition call to select prospective artists for its repertory.
