With the central idea of preserving the cultural heritage and Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb, the SRMS Trust took an initiative to preserve endangered and obsolete music instruments at SRMS Riddhima: A Centre of Performing & Fine Arts Bareilly. This music gallery is educating the music lovers and young generation with the glorious journey of evolution of musical instruments. The centre has procured these instruments from all over the nation. One can find the instruments from Jammu & Kashmir to Tamilnadu and from Gujrat to West Bengal. These instruments are placed in three categories viz; chordophones, percussion instruments (membranophones and idiophones) and aerophones. Many of these instruments are known with different names at different places.
